Office of the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption

The Independent Commissioner Against Corruption (ICAC) is a specialist investigator with a focus on government corruption.

In June 2018, the NT’s first Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) Commissioner was sworn in and the ICAC was set up.

The ICAC is the Chief Executive Officer of his own agency, operating under the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption Act 2017.

The agency is known as the Office of the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption.

The ICAC works with the community to prevent, detect and report improper conduct.
