Crime Prevention and Safety Expo

The Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services, in partnership with TIO, will welcome the public to the Peter McAulay Centre in Darwin this Saturday 25 March for the inaugural Crime Prevention and Safety Expo.

The community will have the opportunity to hear from the experts about cybercrime and staying safe online, protecting home, car and business as well as insurance tips. The Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service will simulate a kitchen fire and conduct a car-cutting demonstration as part of a simulated road rescue.

A similar event will take place in Alice Springs on 8 April on the Town Council lawns.

Anyone interested in participating and hosting a stall at the expo is encouraged to contact the coordination team through the PFES website www.pfes.nt.gov.au or email PFES.Media@pfes.nt.gov.au
