Power and Water’s projects showcased on the world stage

Four of Power and Water’s innovative projects were showcased at the prestigious International Water Association’s World Water Congress & Exhibition 2016 held in Brisbane.

Over 5000 professionals within the water and environment industry from more than 100 countries attended the event.

The Water Services team from Power and Water presented two papers. The first, presented by Eric Vanweydeveld, detailed the Adelaide River Water Treatment Plant project and the integrated system approach to improve the water quality for the Township of Adelaide River. The second paper highlighted the bacterial speciation work Power and Water is undertaking at Leanyer/Sanderson Waste Stabilisation Ponds.

Power and Water’s Regions and Remote team highlighted two projects; sustainably managing water sources for remote communities and the effectiveness of water price signalling in remote Indigenous communities in NT.

The conference provided the opportunity to highlight successes, meet others in the industry, engage with suppliers and gain an understanding of other products and technologies available.
